Pesach (passover) is almost here, but do we really understand why God provided us His lamb?
We often read and hear this verse in bible studies, as someone’s favorite quote or during mass for most of our life. But if we examine it closely, do we really know its deeper meaning?
To begin with, the word love for the Greek and Western audience is abstact. It is mostly defined as fuzzy feeling that is not tangible to the senses. Moreover, it is somewhat possesive wherein the person who feels it mostly mean self gain. One good example of is when a person who likes to eat says, “I love fish.” If we think of it logically, if that person really loves fish, he would not kill and eat it.
On the other hand, the Hebrew mind-set is a dynamic language. It comprise of words that denotes action wherein love is almost synonymous to giving. To put it simply, the more you give, the more you love. With this in mind, we can now read John 3:16 with a deeper perspective and understand its true meaning in a Hebreic way.
We can now emphasize the important words as follow; for God so “LOVED” the world, that he “GAVE” his “ONLY BEGOTTEN SON”, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
In summary, scripture can be interpreted either from a Greeco-Western or Hebraic perspective. The depthness and richness of our appreciation of the word of God varies depending upon the mind-set we employ.
Please help spread the good news, for we must work while it is day, for the night will come when no one can work.
Be warned and prepared. Shabbat Shalom!
New blog post every last Friday of the month!
Who are going to hell:
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
What happens in hell:
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.
How to be saved:
That if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus/Yeshua and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
About 150,000 people die each day and it could be someone you know, love or even you!
Repent today and trust Yeshua for your salvation!
Jesus/Yeshua saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
+It’s either HE was a liar, a lunatic or was telling the TRUTH!
