Merry Christmas: Christmas Tree

I am not really a fan of celebrating holidays especially the pagan ones, but I will share the things I learned about Christmas specifically trees, since it is a timely event.

The old sciptural debate:

Talks about Jeremiah 10 and links it to making Christmas Trees or idols out of lumber.

Analyzing it indepth:

So do you want to know know what Christmas tree symbolizes?

Let’s start…

What does a tree symbolizes?

Man – Job linken himself as a tree, Psalms talk about people as an olive tree, Hosea, Proverbs, Jeremiah, Matthew also link man to trees, etc.

Christ – talks about Himself as the vine or a green tree.

So, we like to decorate our Christmas tree with those cute little elves, Santa Claus and his raindeers, and of course we put a very special star or an angel on top to do the finishing touch.

So what does the angel or star means?

Angel – stars are linked to angels

Lucifer – bright and morning star

We can theorize that the meaning of this pagan practice either mean:

1. I the morning star/angel are above you and your Christ.

2. You humans must vow down to your Christ but I Lucifer is on top.

Although some might argue that the star means the Northern Star that led the Magi to Christ, it is of a modern origin, since making Christmas Tree is not a tradition practiced in the bible.

Now I know you people are too busy preparing for the Yuletide season.

So let me end this blog quickly and tell you people to have a Merry Little Christmas.

Please help spread the good news, for we must work while it is day, for the night will come when no one can work.

Be warned and prepared. Shabbat Shalom!
