Are you a good person?

So we all want to go to heaven, but do we qualify? Why not assess yourself if you really are good enough to have that golden ticket.

Ready?

1.) Did you ever lied in your life even white lies?

2.) Did you ever stole in your life even a candy?

3.) Did you ever used the name of God in vain? Like when you did something wrong or shocked?

If yes, then you consciously know that you are a lying blasphemous thief. And time does not change it even if you did it 10 or 20 years ago. And even if you believe it or not, it does not change the truth. You can beat the red light and not be sorry but that does not change the fact that you will get a violation ticket.

Taking it to earthly terms as in civil court. Imagine you are found guilty of those offenses, and you are to be jailed unless you pay a million dollars. You cannot say “Judge forgive me. I’m a new person, I do not steal anymore and in fact I helped an old lady cross the street, and I did not even killed anyone like my neighbor did. “ You cannot reason with law because you are being judged of sins and not of your good works. Therefore, the price must be paid in full. But out of a hopeless nowhere when you are about to be sentenced for imprisonment someone suddenly appeared and said “I’m paying for this person because he is my friend.” And Jesus exactly did that 2000 years ago.
